ENSAMBLE ARTHAUS
The Ensamble Arthaus was created in late 2022 by the initiative of musicians Andrés Buhar, Lucas Fagin, Daniel D'Adamo, Pablo Druker and Beatriz Quinteiro. The ensemble is a fundamental part of ArtHaus Central, a contemporary creation project dedicated to visual arts, theater, music and film. It is integrated by soloists of the highest level and focuses on experimental music from the 20th century onwards. At the same time, it develops an annual concert season that makes it a regional reference for the quality of its performances and the conception of its presentations, integrating dimensions such as image, technology, dance and other disciplines. The Ensemble's first concert took place at ArtHaus Central in March 2023 and from then on it premiered in Argentina transcendental works such as The Psychedelic Three Lessons of Professor Bad Trip by Fausto Romitelli or Solstices, Georg Friedrich Haas' seventy-minute work/experience to play in complete darkness. In parallel, the ArtHaus Ensemble annually premieres the winning works of the ArtHaus Composition Competition and promotes Argentine artists through a sustained commissioning policy.
